OK, SO WHAT DID I MISS? WHAT HAPPENED?

I usually watch the news, sometimes, but what the heck happened?? I went yesterday to fuel up my Camaro with 93 at my Shell station and the price was 4.19 a gallon! Just a week ago it was 3.85. Did someone say something? Cut something off again? Or does it have to do with this Russia/Ukraine/USA thing that is going on. Gotta say, it's getting a LOT annoying that they do that ALL the time when somebody gets mad at someone else for something they did.

No Idea, but I pumped 93 yesterday for $3.87, last week it was $3.81, so not a huge difference here on Long Island

Yep....

"WASHINGTON, D.C. — Uncertainty over Russia’s intentions toward Ukraine is contributing to higher crude oil prices, which are closing in on $90 per barrel. Russia is a member of OPEC+, and any sanctions based on their actions toward Ukraine may cause it to withhold crude oil from the global market. Higher oil prices will lead to higher pump prices for drivers. The national average for a gallon of gas has risen to $3.36, three cents more than a week ago. "

All of this could be solved if we pumped our own huge surplus of oil.

But then the polar bears will become homeless. The last thing we need is vagrant polar bears pushing around shopping carts scrounging for aluminum cans and sleeping on bus stop benches.

Yep gas jumped 18 cents over night. Were sitting at 3.49 for regular and 4.01 for premium.

I was really surprised when I finally looked at E85 prices. I thought E was supposed to be way cheaper than regular. It was 10 cents cheaper than premium........... found out that because of rising corn prices E85 is no longer cheap

Vagrant polar bears are the worst. They’re ornery and pushy.

Demand is very high unlike 2020.

“On Wednesday OPEC and its oil-producing allies, a group known as OPEC+, decided to stick to a previously announced schedule and increase March production by 400,000 barrels per day. The move comes as the group has faced pressure, including from the U.S., to boost output in an effort to alleviate the rapid appreciation in oil prices.”

You would be too if you were always dragging your junk in snow.
Maybe Soros can sneak some across our southern border?
Not sure how that would help JEWELD afford gas for his jalopy tho.

lol, you guys are funny!! And a jalopy?? Really?? I haven't heard that term in quite a while!! lol. Also I saw the other day where that oil storage tanker exploded and sank somewhere I think was offshore Africa, that will probably cause the prices to go up even more!! lol.

all I can say is we were energy independent less than 2 years ago. VOTE,VOTE,VOTE!!!!!!!! we had global warming during the ice age and came out alright. save the world by building sky scrapers on top of the leaching litium from all the scrap batteries from the e-cars. don't forget we all have plastic in our blood. plus the round-up in all the beer we drink.
