Well i'll not mix words here and this is not a slight against joe or his club just what I've heard and thought myself some. A lot of last year's attendees got a bit miffed at the BS pulled last minute with food. To say nothing about the preparation of the food. We all paid the fee's to get in all thought ribs and bbq were on the menu then somehow somewhere it got changed without letting anyone know outside of the circle we'll call it to a pig roast... The awards and what not didn't bother most of us the turnout was awesome and it was great to see some old faces, the music was fricken terrible unless your 60+ yrs. old. I like old music but wth man that shit was lame after the 20th 50's song in a row. Long story short i'm not saying I speak for everyone on those topics but I guarantee that's why your seeing the crap turnout most of us can't justify the $30 cost of last years experience to make the same trip even for $10 less.

Last year was learning mostly. Joe and his guys have addressed last year and have made changes to help with this.
I'm hopeful that this will get bigger over time and more members will show. Joe and his family put out a lot of there own time and I commend them for this. I was just hoping to see a few more members in on this. If we don't try and support these tipes of gatherings we have what we had before. I think that would be nothing.

No I agree with you 100% Charlie it just left a literal bad taste in some of our mouths the show was great. Maybe a non-food ticket option would sate the masses honestly I dunno but I agree we need more gatherings like this. Joe's an awesome guy and I didn't mean the post to ding his massive efforts he put towards this show but like with a lot of our members they get one bad show experience and that show no longer exists to them. It being a trip isn't an issue for me and others I went down to RI every year RICOA went on except the first one I missed and intend to do fort adams again.

I can't commit as both the wife and I have 1 parent left and both are not doing well,but I hope to be paying at the gate,was a good time last year.

We went last year, thought it was great, but we have very low expectations(we're redneck as f*ck), we'd go again this year but it would appear I'm a bitch and it's just not worth it, don't wanna ruffle any feathers. Rather just drive and enjoy my 6th gen. Hope everyone has fun though, and I do mean that.
