The Fascia could be fixed by moving some things around. If they would have kept the actual Bumble Bee front end and moved the bowtie to where it was supposed to be, i would have been ok with it. It looked more aggressive than this refreshed one. The tail lights look too cartoony IMO. As well as, what the hell is that new body line on the rear end? It already had a facelift, did it really need a butt lift too?

So, I guess this is it for the 6th gen. Oh well, it’s only 3 more years.

Good things? More differentiation between the SS and the 4/6 cylinder cars. 10 speed automatic. Added tech, e.g. Inside rear view mirror.

Bad things? Neither look awesome in photos. Hoping they look better in person. Tail lamps look hideous and looking like they wanted the pre 2014 Gen5 look. Again maybe better in person. DTRLs look very strange having the light pipe broken up by the logo. The detail may look great parked but at a distance while driving they look broken. No interior changes to speak off.

All in all unless the cars just photograph badly, which is possible, I'm not really on board.

As for Gen7? Needs to be a complete reinvention of the expressive sport coupe. Get away from the heritage and history and look boldly into the future. The market is changing as we speak and the appeal to own and maintain a car or truck us slowly going away. What would a future Camaro be that kicked that door down and made people want that car? But that's my opinion and as with the Gen6 GM does not appear to have the courage to walk away from the legacy. So look for a hatchback.

You know what?

Call me crazy..........I like it, now. Bowtie and all...

Give this design time, and let's see it in person. It is a radical departure from the same design language that has been in place since 2006. It will take some time to adjust our brains. Not saying everyone will love it...but I think many will admit it's grown on them in time.

I agree, to a point. After seeing the photoshopped version with the bow tie moved, I actually like it a lot. It’s an aggressive evolution that isn’t a complete abandonment of the Camaro DNA.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a modern 98-02 4th gen look come back. I still think those cars look sleek and modern.

You might be right. Still think the bowtie should be moved up. I am going to hunt the grounds this afternoon and get up close to one without Camo. They are here, just gotta go find one.

I tend to agree with Mr W. When I saw the refreshed SS by itself I wasn’t sure I liked it. But when I see the side by side comparison pics of current gen 6 vs refreshed gen 6 I actually do start to like it a lot more.

I waited out the week before I looked at the refresh again...it is just not sleek or stylish like a sports/muscle car, IMO it has a truck-ish look to it.

Starting to be a little less negative about the refresh. Pics of the M plated gray car give me a better felling about the tail lamps. Still not digging the hood yet.

little bit embarrassing if GM can't get the ZR1 round significantly quicker than the ZL11LE. Apparently track conditions were as perfect as they get today.

I saw that, earlier today. I’m not counting them out, yet.

I am crazy impressed with the ZL1 1LE, though....

I wouldn’t be too surprised.

We never did get an official C7 Z06 time.
