Hell (Sled) Yes !

Well I've lived long enough to see Led Sleds to now a Hell Sled. This looks bad ass
I might have to get me one if they increase social security enough.

Looks good, but I've driven electrics and although they're fast, they're boring and sterile.

Well at least you should be able to smell the rubber. Maybe they could add a shake setting to the suspension and hemi straight pipe noise thru the cabin.

ive never driven an EV so i cant comment on the "soul-less" aspect, but that certainly looks better than a 4 door mustang or camaro.puts dodge in a much better position in the brand wars than chevy or ford...

The lines sort of remind me of the proto GTO that was flirted with before they came out with the abomination that became the 04-06 GTO. But like others have stated, while fast, the EV is just not appealing to me. I rode in a Tesla and the owner could make it do all kinds of sounds in the cab - from a V8 roar to farting noises when you flipped the blinkers on. (Ok that was funny in my juvenile brain.) Fast but indeed, souless.

I loved this GTO concept. Wish they would have made it. Might have saved the Poncho brand:

I think all of this EV promo crapola is just current regime politics. Until gas hit $7.00, EV sales were sluggish at best. Now you're going to try and entice me with a 'concept car' 3 years down the road? Fossil fuel WILL be back. Not because of some candidate du jour, because IT IS NECESSARY! Especially if we’re all going to plug our EV’s into an already stressed electrical grid. The mere suggestion that would work is laughable.

+1
The reasonable, plausible thing would be a gradual change, incorporating ICE, hybrids, and electrics over time. And not in the next decade! Like I said, reasonable.
And as far as a hotrod electric…..meh.

My standard answer: Be pretty cool with an LT4 and a 6-speed.

I just flashed on something. The whisper quiet of an EV and the abandonment of loud, smelly, aggressive ICE’s would seem fitting in a country seemingly hellbent on the total emasculation of a populace.

Give me a fire breathing V8 (and I don’t care if it won’t beat your EV concept car) and a Les Paul plugged directly into a Marshall stack. Both turned up to 11!
