Dodge needs to get that Convertible 'Cuda to the market. Once they do, I'll get one!
The Camaro has turned me into a convertible enthusiast, but if they discontinue the Camaro, then I gotta go somewhere else.

One of the things I like about my Gen 6 Vert is how solid it is. If Dodge did a vert it would not be on nearly as stable platform as our Gen 6.

Interesting thoughts.

There are a couple convertible Challengers that frequent Woodward Avenue on weekends. I think I have pictures of the Plum Crazy one somewhere on my phone. If I find it I’ll post it. The other one is lime green. If I don’t find them, Dream Cruise is this weekend and I’m sure they’ll be out.

Bummer. I’ll prob just keep my 6th Gen forever. 90% of my enjoyment is wrenching on cars. Not possible with EV.

Challenger ice and Charger ice dead after next year. Replaced with EV muscle car.

No Camaro.

Only the Mustang will soldier on. A part of me hopes that the Mustang sells crazy well and nobody buys the EV muscle, if just for nothing more than to make a point. Perhaps that point is "you just can't recreate the soul of muscle with electric".

Just wait until the government legislates acceleration in EV. That’ll be the end. No doubt it could be insane for a couple years, but electric demand issues will surface and high HP EV will be targeted to help alleviate grid problems. I also expect govt intervention in acceleration. Fast 0-60 + quiet is going to be deadly especially in the hands of kids and prob 1/2 of the US population.

All these new electrical architectures, over the air updates. Over the air control (if authorized.....). Who needs launch codes?

That new EV sounds terrible.

I guess it's a nice effort, but try as they might, they'll never reproduce the visceral feel/sound of a manual transmission connected to a big V8. Fake transmission shifts and speakers blaring engine sounds perhaps is better than nothing, but I'll mourn the loss nonetheless.

The Challenger convertible is an aftermarket option. You order your Challenger at the dealer and choose the option. When your Challenger is built, it is shipped directly to Drop top Customs in FL. and sent directly to your dealer when completed.

I believe that what Kuniskis said was that the Hemi's will no longer be in the Chargers and Challengers. He didn't say that they would be EV only.

Keep in mind that they have just designed the new Hurricane inline, twin turbo V6 engine. It comes in two forms, the base engine generating 410HP and the H.O. at 510 HP. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

All I know is that I ordered a '22 Challenger Scat Pack Widebody with the Tremec 6 spd.

Agreed. No need for posing.
