It was a coolish day all day but pleasant to be outside. I RainX'ed the windows on Pepper & Daddy's girl, pruned my roses, swept the sidewalk & driveway, pulled weeds in my flower garden & put Miracle grow on my potted flowers. Mike cleaned rust off the underside of Daddy's Girl & sprayed WD-40 on places that needed that & rubberized undercoat on places that needed that. He painted the trim on the shed & the door to under the house, mowed the grass, did the weed-eater, put sevin dust around the house & shed, & inspected under the house (neighbors have termites, but we're all good). We are tired but we got a lot done. There is another list for tomorrow. There are fun car events in Nashville, Clarksville & Louisville this weekend we would have loved to attend but we just can't do car stuff every weekend. Anyway, it feels good to get that stuff done.

So tired! Among other things, I replaced our master bathroom toilet with one of those taller ones. Easier for us old farts to get on and off. Shitty job, but someone had to do it. Bathroom remodel is done but I will have to paint in there soon.

Hoping I can play with the cars Sunday.

Good Sunday Morning crew. It is going to be a wonderfully perfect day here; in the low 70's, sunny, light breeze. I can't wait to get out there I give Ruby a good bath & cleaner waxing. And, a few other tasks. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Will do. Hope to do them this weekend at the F-Body Gathering. Would like to try them out on the HRPT to see how they work.

Hope y'all are having a great weekend. Weather here just seems odd for mid-May.

Andy, by any chance are you coming to F-Body?

I am leaning toward a "yes", but have to make sure of a couple things before I can fully commit ... including making certain that my battery/electrical issue is truly fixed. That and I need to check with an old friend that lives in the area to make certain that he is okay with a house guest.

Don't really have the funds to be spending on hotel, much as I would like to.

I was looking for the parking lot map, trying to see if there was room with any of the groups for my car should I be able to make it, but it hasn't been posted yet.

If you need help finding a place to stay, I might be able to find someone that would put you up at their house, or maybe share a room if you could swing it.

Yeah, map isn't out yet. Probably mid-next week. If you register, you can park with us if you don't have a set group you're going to park with. Smoke is parking with us.

Well Mike & I got our exercise this weekend! I did just a few house chores this morning then headed out to clean up Ruby. First I moves the truck & Nissan out of the way under the carport & washed down the driveway where some naughty birds had made a hell of a mess with a ton of poop. Then moved Ruby under there, washed her, dried her down, spray waxed the wheels, and cleaner waxed the whole car. It was a absolutely perfect day for it but it took way longer that I thought it would. I did not get her windows RainX'ed but I can do that one evening in the garage.

Mike painted the little shed door & back house door trim, replaced some siding on the big shed door, trimmed the over grown hedges & cleaned up the resulting mess, then grilled us some steaks. We are totally worn out but it is great to get those things done. Next week temps are supposed to be back up in the 90's & the tasks we got done this weekend would have been miserable in those temps. It feels good to get some things done that have ben neglected for a couple of years. (mind you Ruby has not been neglected for 2 years but her cleaner waxing was past due).

I will get her windows done this week & maybe a touch up with detailer on Friday to be ready for the Camaro reunion this weekend.

Mike's Hard Lemonade is SO good!

Found it at a nearby Walmart. Our grocery store is usually out of it.

Does anyone else think this weekend flew by?

Since my wife broke her ankle, I've stepped up to care for her and do her "chores". Time just flies by now. Two weeks down, four more to go.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I haven't been on in a few days. Who thought being retired would be so busy. Skipinminn, I have that same problem. It's hard not to sample that power once in awhile.
