Cruised to Mt St Helens today. Only 2 Camaros, but the other was a new C5 member (MXR), so he's been initiated now! I told him to pop in and meet the old farts, and also extended an invite to WCOFF II. He and his wife LOVE road trips

The fires in eastern WA are making the skies here hazy, so mountain viewing wasn't so good, but Camaro and chubby chipmunk viewing were perfect!!
Nice pics as usual Jeanette. It's funny, but that first one reminded me of the first Camaro TV commercial that aired, introducing the 1967 model. It featured a Camaro emerging from a Volcano!
Another weird coincidence happened to me at the old bike swap meet that I went to, near Portland today. I've been looking for parts for a custom Schwinn that I am building, that is inspired by our car. I'm painting it Synergy green (of course). I found a rear deck with fenders that I thought might look good on the bike. The guy offered me a deal I couldn't refuse and I bought it right off. I asked him if he knew what kind of bike it came off, but he had no idea. My closest guess was a Huffy.
I was carrying my purchase while looking at another vendors stuff. The guy apparently was looking at what I was carrying when he chimed in, "You've got parts of a Huffy Camaro!"
I didn't even know Huffy made a Camaro. I knew Schwinn made a Corvette, but not this. I later picked up a tank and headlights, without knowing that they were also the same as used on the Camaro. But the same guy noticed again, and the same thing happened again. Weird!
I Googled them when got home. Now I know what my next "must have" bike is!

Very cool Camaro bike! And I love that Camaro commercial. Good Sunday Morning gang. I am not as sore as I thoght I'd be but I can feel yesterday's hard work. Yesterday's beautifuly perfect weather has given away to morning showers. A perfect lazy morning for sleeping in (which Mike is taking advantage of) or having a cup of morning coffee in peace (which I am doing). Jan gets mods today..............a hair cut & color................very much needed. Nothing fancy just my usual pixie & color, but I always feel better with a fresh hairdo. Have a great day everyone.

The invitation to come visit is always open... I'll take you to the mountain If you want, I can pass people the way we did yesterday (I'm scared of heights, there are some pretty high bridges along the route, passed a camper on one - going 90 in the wrong lane on a high bridge really got my heart going!!!)

How about "Could someone please hand me my parking ticket book???"

Hi all 59 yrs young here from Va, age is just number. Bought my first Camaro in 1976, I was 23, bought this one at 58. The only difference is 'i can afford this one' ohhh one other thing - when i get behind the wheel of my 2013 2LT R/S CRM Camaro I feel like I'm 23 again.
