Z/28 Hood Wrap - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I owned a 1LE before I traded it for a Z/28 last month. I kind of liked the flat black hood and am thinking about wrapping the Z/28 hood plus it will help with rock chips from the track. Anyone done this to their Z/28? or should I clear bra the hood?

Personally, I like clear better than the blacked out look for the Z/28.

As stated, personal preference is paramount.

I've always liked the flat hood on the 1LE. A flat hood on the Z/28 would look great too.
Some Camaro purists will be upset though.

on a black car it should be a clear wrap. On any other color, the flat black wrap like the 1LE looks o.k. because of the black accents already present.

These are NITTO NT05 in a 305-35-19. They are really hard to find though. Cost about $1300 for the set installed. I have no complaints at all.

Did you use up the stock Trofeo or make the switch for another reason? I have been looking at the 305/30/19 NT05 but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I think it looks good and functional as well removes glare from a shiny hood especially a shiny light colored hood.

I own both, personally think they should have put the hood wrap on the Z as well.
