I edited my original post. I accidentally ordered an extra set of the interior lights instead of the license plate ones. But all works well.

And sorry jewel the house didn't work out.

It's okay. Not meant to be, but I am not going to sit around waiting for something to happen unless I make a change. I am going to resign the lease for another year, get a part time job that will increase income and give me extra money to pay off he cars.

How do you like them Freddy? And r u sure that happens with halogens? I've never heard that about halogens. I know for sure that that's a possibility with hids though

Yes, it can happen with halogen bulbs too. The oils from your fingers cause the glass to heat up at a different rate than the rest of the glass (causing stress on the glass) and will make a hot spot which either shatters or decreases the life of the bulb.

Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for that! Guess I have to be more careful then. I always use to just grab the bulbs with my hands

Lone star about summed it up. I didn't know it was possible till my dad told me and I trust what he says. He has over 30 years experience working as a mechanical contractor and has renovated one of the largest colleges in Florida.

But anyways I like the bulbs. I will get some picture later tonight for you. At first I thought the larger ones were for the interior and the small bulbs were for the license plate but it's the other way around. I kind of wish the interior ones were a little brighter but I can't complain Because they were dirt cheap and look good.

I have to give you credit for a great find. I might order some spares just incase. I want to run them for a little before I do though.

It's mainly higher output bulbs like headlamps and projector bulbs that you have to watch out for. The smaller turn signal, sidemarker, interior lighting bulbs don't heat up to the same extent. But I just use caution with them all anyway.
