I do agree that it seems to be an over better truck then the toyota. Quality is yet to be seen though. If it likes GM's other trucks, it should be fine.
Chevrolet always puts the butt end up higher so that the truck is more level and handles better when loaded. That's why it is done....not simply b/c that's how Chevy wants them to look.

Anyways...sorry he went with the Toyota. But hope he enjoys it.

I know and it doesn't make sense to me to design it that way when most of the time trucks are driven not loaded or with very little load.

So are you saying that you would prefer it if loaded trucks were more difficult to control than they already are? Because as someone who would have to share the road with such trucks, I'm not really a fan of that idea.

Haha, I have an entire fleet of trucks that are far more loaded than what the average person puts them through. They handle just fine as long as the employees driving them realize that they are not driving a Camaro. I don't believe the rake design improves that much. I'm far more concerned about the A- hole texting than a loaded truck. I'm not just blaming chevy. They all do it to extent. It's just that the design of their trucks make it more noticeable. Like I said. I love chevy trucks for everything they offer and their quality. I buy the 3/4 ton versions because they look better. I guess the toyota is a deathtrap in your eyes then because it doesn't have that nasty looking rake. Sorry just a pet peeve of mine and many others.

My Raptor has a rake too, but it's design doesn't make it very noticeable. That's all I'm saying.

Could not agree more. My 2014 F-150 was the same way, so leveling was a must.
