With out the story: Throttle position sensor was going bad.

Story is below and a little long. So if you don't want to read it then skip it.

STORY: as you all know, I've had a problem since I changed my oil after I got home from my vacation in GA. FELT LIKE My clutch was slipping/surging with light acceleration. I took my car to a GM speciality shop focusing on GM cars and trucks (mainly Corvettes). Wednesday the owner calls and tells me that his mechanic quit. This shop is only the owner and his 1 mechanic. Well I left the car there til Monday (yesterday 3/28) the car still wasn't done but now I need my car for work and what not and I just want my car back because it's hardly been touched. The owner has told me he only plugged one if the OBDII tools in and checked it out. Never got around to actually trying to fix it. So I'm about to leave the shop in my car and I start it. I instantly get a CEL and "REDUCED ENGINE POWER !" message on the DIC. I then instantly shut the car off seeing that and the car was idling like it has a miss. I checked all the wires thinking that was the problem, all the wires were in fact on, I turned the car over again. Idled fine but the CEL was still on. Got the owner of the shop to plug the scan tool back in and he tells me "throttle ignition switch". So just for clarification purposes I asked, is that the throttle position sensor going bad? He replied yes and stated the code was gone. Drove the car home and it was doing its normal slipping/surging crap. I get home and swap my ported TB back to my factory TB, go for a test drive and everything is great. Runs normal without the surging crap. I swapped TB motor/sensor portion of the TBs and now I have my ported TB on and the car runs perfectly.

Heritage Grille is supposed to be delivered to me today, also supposed to go pick up my ZL1 Rockers, and stock DRL wiring harness from the dealership today as well. Also probably going to order the ZL1 Wheel liners and Brake Cooling ducts today, and the radiator Air duct. Which will leave me with needing to order Impact Bar, Driver side headlight, New DRL Bulbs, and H11 Bulbs to fit in the ZL1 Bumper, and potentially a new passenger fender and new DRL Housings.

Just saw that this weekend is supposedly 'national alcohol free weekend'... When will that fad end? Still won't stop me from having some booze though. I know it's not a real thing but I find it weird how now every day is 'national X day'
