There's a whole group of us over in the 4th gen section . Hard to believe a 3.8L 4 speed can get better gas mileage than a 3.6 6 speed in a 2010. The 3.8 is a great engine. They're strong and really reliable. I've heard of some going well over 300K miles. I just don't want mine getting that high....


So what else do we need to know about it? Color, T-tops, auto/manual?

True, but you also won't see a stock 3.8 cut a 6 second 0-60 like the new 3.6 - heh.

Uh, well... thats hampered by the fact that the Z28 I'm getting already has pretty much all the mods I'm planning on doing. Its got long tubes, cat back, CAI, short throw, and 3.73 gears.

Well, there is some interior and exterior cosmetic work I want to do though. I guess that'll count.

its auto, that was the only thing I didn't like, but I needed to be driving again lol, no ttops either, but that wasn't too important. i'm not sure what the actual name of the color is, but its gold. power windows, mirrors, locks....... umm...... 90k on the engine, interior is still good, no rips anywhere. and, I HAVE LEG ROOM!!! big improvement from my 2 seat rx7's leg room lol

they dropped Sport Gold in 98 but 5 were made in 99 with the left over paint for a special Days Inn promotion

ahhhh, whew, you had me there for a second. The lighter color is called Light Pewter Metallic which was the 2nd most popular color. The main differences between your's and mine is your's will have electronic throttle control where mine is still all mechanical. The 99's also got a bigger gas tank and your's will have all wheel disk brakes where mine still has drums on the back. Yours is also the first year for the oil life monitor and your V6 might have TC as an option (mine doesn't have it).
