Correct. I don't think the diesel is for me. I don't want to pay the higher fuel prices and worry about exhaust fluid. Ill have to look at all the numbers once they're out. I expect the diesel to pay for itself compared to the six cylinder FE but not sure about the 4.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Duramax, but it's a toss up for all three still. The LFX would be very nice with all that power.

Yeah. I don't need the extra power but if its not a huge difference in FE I would pay the upgrade for the LFX. I guess the LGX won't be ready in time for the Colorado release? Maybe they'll use it a couple years in.

Doesn't look like it. I honestly don't know what the timeline is for LGX. It'll make it into the current-gen ATS at some point so...

LTS was trademarked a while back.

And honestly, they don't really mean anything anymore. ATS I think was just coincidence that it lined up with Alpha, no idea what XTS or ELR would stand for.

I hate letter or number designations for car names especially if they have nothing to correlate back to. Then it's just a jumbled mess in my opinion. We need some great names again, not necessarily the old names but something that reflects the style and purpose for each model....

If any Cadillac deserves a real name (vs a random spoonful of alphabet soup), it would be its flagship.

Problem is a lot of the traditional Cadillac nameplates just sound old and Cadillac was less than enthused with Elmiraj considering people were either pronouncing it wrong or spelling it wrong.

Like I said it doesn't have to be an old name, just one that reflects the style and purpose of the car.
As an example this is supposed to be the Flagship, Spanish for Flagship would be Capitana.
