I am doing fantastic, Im home, Im healthy, and the Camaro is good, but most of all, Im with my wife...though she is currently on Facebook....

Correction, she has two laptops an iPad, and her cellphone surrounding her...all at the same time...

Typically I was in the 13.2 area, but I did grab a 13.0, and had a great run going but missed fourth... Killed my speed.
the earlier runs were 13.2 at 109-110, and then I cut a 13.1 at 99 after missing 4th. It would have been a solid 12.7 or 12.8 at 111-112...
no problem though, I had blast...

Thats right on target man , the car has run 12.9 s according to the articles that are around.How were you launching ? with T/C or without ?and what rpm?

there were a few 12.7s turned in last night.
In practicing, I have found the best results without T/C. I do a hefty burnout, both tires smoldering, and then stage....
I launch at about 1800 to 2000 rpm and as soon as I feel it biting, I hammer it. I went up nismoke a few times but for the most part, I was launching pretty hard.
for my burnouts, I dump the clutch and then immediately get on the brakes just enough to hold the car in place and then let it drift forward to the stage area...There were two times last night that only one tire was spinning, after figuring that out, I watched for it and would restart the process if needed.
I know some don't feel the burnout is really that good with these tires, but it was working really well for me, now I just need to invest in some new tires before long...
as an aside, when doing my burnout, I feather the throttle so Im not banging into the rev limiter...

Nope.. was not at the Nationals. Never said I was going in any thread. I have no idea why you would think that. lol.
Had family stuff to attend to .. both my daughters arrived from two different cities and we had a fun.
My wife and I have some special daughters. They are two incredible women.
They are out of the house now and I never miss an opportunity to spend time with them, ever.
