I have the XB1 and PS4, at the moment the XB1 sees much more play time than the PS4. I haven't even turned the PS4 on in over a month (no reason to). Hopefully that will change when my preorder of Infamous ships.

I use remote play 2-3x a week and it's awesome. That's damn near the only way I played AC IV. Knack sucks but Killzone is a solid game. Second son looks amazing. There's not enough of a library for ps plus, but it has had some really solid free titles

The only thing it's good on is AC4. You can't play shooters over it, or even NFS. I'm not passing judgment on Second Son until I play it.

Not bad options, how much is game fly per month? I would think the 30 day rental should be close of not better then that

Sorry bro , I know folks have different opinions but I have to say that post was just bull. 1. Microsoft HAD to improve its O.S. since somethings imo was broken like party chat/cross game chat for example, the the ps4 is real snappy. 2. The P.C. comment seems like a stealth troll comment if you into the simplicity of gaming on consoles where the PS4 is the place to be for multiplats similar how the 360 was last gen. And Ps4 ps+ is not garbage, I'm having a blast with Dead Nation (love the local coop) and Outlast. Of course it's just the beginning of this generation so as the library improves so will the games offered, not to mention the discounts. Meanwhile garbage is whats being offered for Xbox live gold. 2. Remote play , plays wonderful, the only thing I had to get use to was using the back touchpads. Killzones multiplayer is a blast, (singleplayer = meh), but infamous comes out next week and Sony 1st and 2nd party studios is pretty much equal to Nintendo now imo, so the games are coming (probably a lot of announcements at E3 for both Sony and M.S.) Hmmm it just seems that whole post screamed "butthurt" just sayin.

Why would I be butt hurt? I've owned every single Playstation product ever made. The MS OS was and still is better than the PS4s. I don't give a shit how snappy it is, I care about how it can be customized and how it displays the content. The PS4 OS is the most boring god damn OS I've ever seen. Boring = straight forward. It's not flooded with ads or other bs and you don't have to go hunting for your content. That's why it was made this way. Also, one could argue that MS is working on improving their OS everyday because it needs it. For example, why are the download and install times so long? It's almost as bad as PS3 last gen, meanwhile the PS4 is super fast at these tasks now. Also, from what I've gathered from friends, the PS4s party chat/cross game chat is great while the X1s seems worse than it was on 360 (not my direct observation, just what I've been told by X1 owners).

Dead Island? I'm curious as to what game you actually meant since there's no Dead Island on PS4. Dead Nation? Has X1 even gotten ANY games for gold yet?

From what I can gather, you primarily play FPSs, which X1 seems to have a better selection of (granted by 1 since most are multiplat). Also you're making a comparison of a launch title to what is supposed to be the "CoD killer" of shooters.

However, at the end of the day, you both sound like raging fanboys that are butthurt that someone doesn't like the same things that you do. Different people like different things. Mikey likes MSs approach to their OS where you can customize content and truth likes the straightforward approach that Sony takes. Mikey likes FPSs and truth like more variety.

Personally, I've fine with both of everything. The only reason I don't have an X1 yet is that it's more expensive and has less games that I enjoy. If I were to get one today, the only titles I would buy are Forza 5 and Titanfall. Meanwhile I've had/have 10-15 if you include downloaded games on my ps4.

Sorry I meant Dead Nation. Dead Island was free on 360 a couple of months ago. I enjoy almost all games, but the majority of games on the new systems are shooters, so I can't compare it with anything else. The multiplats for both systems are boring and stale anyway. I just feel that Sony has lost all of their momentum with the PS4 and I hope ISS is able to regain some of that. I am not a fan boy of any console, as I said before I've owned every piece of PS hardware to date, a 360, an XB1, and a PC.

Sales figures for the ps4 disagree. Game developers seem to disagree as well. The better versions are still PS4 and game devs seem more willing to admit it as of late

True and it's an unfortunate trend IMO. The market is so saturated with shooters lately, I'm getting tired of them. Also, I feel like devs are forgetting what makes good shooters good (single player wise anyway). It's not about graphics or crazy explosions. It's about variety and story. The reason FPSs originally took off is because it's a very solid backbone gameplay wise to do a wide variety of gameplay mechanics and to tell a good story (see Halo 2 campaign). Now it's just, copy+paste+new weapons+multiplayer.

I don't even wanna get started on the graphics whore trend either...
