My sweet hubby made me some home made chicken noodle soup with whole wheat noodles & carrots. Yummy! Now he is washing Ruby for me. I guess the old boy is not all bad huh? Funny how chicken noodle soup really does make you feel better. I added some OJ to some seven-up & that is also hitting the spot. Maybe I can ward off bronchitis if i keep at it.

Wow I got the bug from hell this weekend. Thought I was having a panic attack Friday morning, felt that little lump starting to boil around so I took one of my panic pills and went back to bed... hubby started cooking his breakfast and it was all over. I started barfing my guts up to the point I hurt myself. Could hardly move for 2 days, my stomach muscles hurt so bad! I am just starting to feel a little better, 3 days off work, and really glad I have 2 days off now to continue to recuperate.
I feel your pain, Ruby! I get bronchitis too, in fact I got this flu at the tail end of the cold/cough and that was making me hurt soooo bad. I still think I might go to the doctor tomorrow and make sure it's not giardia or something.

Sounds like everybody had "interesting" weekends to say the least! Get better and stay better. Ruby, like the jacket, very thoughtful gift. And I think it is way more fun to go out and share some time then doing the who got the most gifts deal.
It was nice enough that we took our new puppy to the dog park, we all had some good muddy fun. Took the grandsons and wore them out for awhile too.
The stress will ramp up for me along about Friday, my mother is coming. Oh well, like the Griswold's say; "It's Christmas, we're all miserable."

My Camaro and Firebird club had their Christmas party this past weekend too. I'm waiting for someone to share pics, but we did have an impromptu 12 days of carmas song........can't wait to see the pics!

I never thought of a gathering for the holidays before since not all of us drive our cars in the winter, but it is still a great idea. I'll have to organize for next year.
