Now that I think about it, Lubbock is the furthest north I've ever been. FAIL.
In your defense Texas does take forever to cross

That's awesome, especially for a HS trip! I'll go someday, armed with a camera and good walking shoes. I'm hoping to get a chance to take a trip somewhere next spring/winter.

That's a hefty list you got going. Definitely like to see some of those places. I have never left the country. Only traveled to New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Hawaii. And all over Texas,

I'm supposed to have lots of free time now, but for some reason I haven't had any time for video games lately. I don't wanna grow up anymore.

Yea a long while back my dad knew a guy that spent his whole life working and never got to travel like he had wanted and passed away before he ever could so my dad decided he wouldn't be like that and has done family vacations to the extreme. He's talking about possibly going to Spain and Ireland during the spring so I guess we will see if it plays out. Those are 2 places I have always wanted to go along with Tokyo for some reason.

Lol, I only had a disposable camera for my Hawaii trip 10 years ago. If I go back and look at those pics, I'm sure they look crappy too, lol.

That's an understatement. Honestly Texas has to be a pretty bad state to Cross east to west since the scenery barely changes.

That's awesome! If it weren't for school trips (and me), my family and I wouldn't have ventured out of Texas very much. I got to go to Hawaii as a sophomore in HS, then had a band trip to Cali for New Years as a junior (which was a good excuse for my parents to take my brothers to Disney Land). And I highly doubt I would've come to Houston, if it wasn't for school.

Spain is another place I wanna see. And the countryside in Ireland would be cool.

It actually changes quite a bit. It goes from being green and hilly in the east, to dry and flat, to dryer and mountain-y out west. Go far enough west, and it's almost desert territory. I-10 is just a boring road since it's a straight shot through the state without many cities along the path.
