Once I pay off my current student loans I'll be enrolling at the local community college to go for an Engine Performance Specialist certificate. Really excited about that one, and my girlfriend found it and is encouraging me to go for it.

I know we have some good drag racers in this group...so I have a question. I have slowly noticed a 'wiggle' in the rear end when I jump on the throttle and go WOT. I feel it coming through third gear (70-90 mph). It's just a slight wiggle, like it could be some bushings worn in the suspension or something. Nothing to throw the car from going straight, but it's there.
I will be taking up to Raymonds for them to really crawl through it to see what is going on before the season starts, but looking for any ideas of what I could possible inspect before taking it in. I suspect it will only get worse if I am pushing the car hard. Thoughts?? |

Ehhhh, I thought about it, but I don't mind it there. And taking the rear badges off was hard enough, that double sided tape put up a damn good fight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You may have guessed correctly on bushings, are the rear tires properly inflated? if not, that will cause a wiggle at speed.

If I am running at that speed (normal highway cruising), there really is no wiggle. But when you are from a dead stop to hard on the throttle and it's coming up through the speed range, you can feel that wiggle a couple of times. It's enough for me to notice without being 'alarmed' if you know what I mean. It's the ol.... "something not quite right there" feeling. I want to get it fixed because it would probably scare Missy some when she drives it hard.

Sounds like and hopefully is just a bushing issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

me too. That is what I am thinking would cause this. I will recheck the tire pressures again. No weird noises going on, no weird sound, no weird vibrations or anything to lead me to any other conclusions. But once it's on a lift, I am hoping someone can go "ah ha, there it is"... pay me money and I fix it.
