Just got finished killing the legendary animals to complete level 10 of Master Hunter. Was disappointed in how easy they were to kill. Having to kill the Grizzly with my knife was harder than the legendary animals.

Hmm i did that and didn't get the trophy, maybe because the train was just leaving the station... I'll have to try again.

Killed and skinned my 18th Grizzly last night to unlock the "Bearly Legal" achievement.

87% complete now. Just a couple more stranger missions, 3 more outfits to complete and a handful of story missions left. At least I think that's all I have left to do.

inorite? The bear kept running from me after I hit it with the knife a couple of times so I had to chase it all over hell and creation. By the time I caught up to it we'd be in a different area on the map and while I was killing it a couple of his buddies would gank me. So, it really wasn't that hard to kill a bear with a knife, it was hard to keep the other bears from killing me while I was doing it.

I was lucky in that regard. We just kept circling each other but he did stand up on his hind legs one time. Thought I was done for then. I think it took me 5-6 swipes with my knife to kill him.

I shot the bear twice with the evans repeater first.

it only took 1 stab with the knife after that.

FTW

I shot it once with the Buffalo rifle but it still took me 5-6 swipes. I did shoot it in the ass though because I was afraid of killing it if I shot it anywhere else.

Anyone have any useful tips on the horseshoes? I need to win one game in order to unlock a piece of an outfit and I find the game frustratingly difficult.

No kidding, I haven't been able to get that one either! And here I thought it'd be somewhat of an easy one to do, ha!

What seems to be the trouble? Throwing it high or too far?

Too far, too short, too wide. You name it!
