The 16 year old that crashed her new SUV has been seen lately driving her dad's new Porsche Turbo ($148K). I was told she can be seen flying down the street in a new Porsche Turbo while talking on her cell phone.

Yes, 16 year old driving a new Porsche Turbo.

Where is this? South beach? That girl is severely spoiled. This actually reminds me of that dr. phil episode (I hate the show, but still) where he had that 20-something year old girl that kept getting tickets and got into a s******* of crashes and drives over 100 on the street

Ya, I know.

I have a 1998 Chevy S10, and there is a guy at school who used to drive a 200? dodge intrepid....these people don't make alot of money, and this kids dad gives them money. anyway, his dad buys a new charger R/T, and he brags about how it can beat Mustang GTs, Camaros, and whatever else (which isn't true) until I tell him to have his dad get that Charger, and line it up against our GT, then he gets scared and backs down. Anyway, this year, after only one year of having the Charger, and the kid having the Intrepid, his dad "gives" him the Charger (which looks like a plain everyday charger). Now he is unappreciative of the car because he didn't do anything for it, and he thinks that just because his daddy gave him a Charger, my parents will give me the Mustang GT...and he still thinks that the Dodge can beat it......talk about spoiled.

I'm 18 just got my SS last friday for my grad gift from my gmaw. Can't really stand some of the people on this site that "hate" on the young owners. I feel very lucky to have this car and I know I am. I drove my dad's old truck until i got this and I made it look better than when he was driving it haha. This car means everything to me and I know im going to be doing all i can to keep it at 100% 24/7.
I know what it's like to get a speeding ticket and believe me you live and learn, if you live above the influence of others then any teen will be fine with this car. Be appreciative of what you have because others are not as lucky.

As for the paying for it: I did not buy the car, i am buying any mods for it with money i have saved up and when i move to san diego and get another job (fingers crossed) i will be paying for my insurance as well. Until then my job is to maintain my 4.0 GPA, and not drink and drive ha

I don't understand how people are getting insured on SS's at 16-17. When I was looking at a used 2000 GT Mustang my insurance agent all but laughed at me when I got a quote. Even the 02 V6 I got was close to back breaking for 16 years olds pay grade. Getting quotes for this one my agent asked FIVE times, and I quote, "it's the V6, right? Not the 8? Because that would be...a problem".

Yeh, I really don't get it either. I was originally quoted 4 grand for my 2000 v6 when I was looking for insurance and I'm in my 20s, so I jokingly asked how much it would be for all three of my cars, the agent took a look and said 10 grand. Eventually it got worked out though
