True, but Jerry Jones runs the show in Dallas, he is the GM, head coach and owner all in one.

I highly doubt Jerry does anything reasonable, he's gonna get every bit of football outta Romo with all that money he's sinked into him over the years.

I'll predict right now that Romo won't last more than 2 weeks before going out for the season with an injury...then being untradable before he is forced to retire.

The Cowboys have a great chance to lower their salary cap significantly at the QB position for many years, leaving them the ability to invest in other areas like the Seahawks did with Wilson.

No-one ever said Jerry Jones was smart though.

can't say I'm surprised by the fins horrific playing. I am glad to see the lions knock off an undefeated team.

Same reason the Lions let him walk, he's choking out the salary cap. He's not making any difference record wise. Trade or cut, then use cap space to acquire several pieces for the puzzle instead of just one, although the one that he is ,is a very good piece. Not that this strategy has worked out well for Detroit, but hey, it's the Lions and nothing has worked out in sixty years..

Well, today's Lions and Dolphins games were both surprises. The Phins win 30-15 against the Steelers at home. I don't think many people had Miami in that one, I didn't. The Lions win on a FG with under 2 minutes two play for the second week in a row. 31-28. I believe that was Staffords 24th forth quarter comeback for a win. I can't seem to find Poor Mans Camaro pick for this week so his record stays the same, 4-1, 5pts. Kens record improves to2-4, 4pts. I win this weeks challenge and pull to within 1pt of PMC for the year.

Man PMC, your finding some sharp logos! Gonna have to up my game, probibly next week! Haha. The Bills are surpriseing a lot of people, including me. Always thought of Rex Ryan as kinda of a blowhard joke. But the Bills are performing.
