No one attacked you. I only questioned your censorship of others' opinions. From one forum mod to another: It's a slippery slope thinking freedom of speech is valid as long as I agree with what you say. Stay true to your beliefs, but allow other to have theirs.

Freedom of speech protects you against government censorship. The government does not operate this site, so the First Amendment guarantees of freedom of speech and press do not apply.

The best post in this whole thread. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Incredible performer, awesome singer, great songwriter, IMO. His dancing is the real deal, the pioneer to today's urban dancing, I think.

+4

In addition to living the life of an entertainer on the world's stage that incurs stress and demands consistent delivery upon extremely high expectations, he endured a lot of flak from a lot of people for a lot of things. His whole life, he was entertaining people, ever since he was a kid. Even when not performing, the news, speculation, and jokes about him served as entertainment to people. It's time for a a break that was long overdue.

Yea know I may be into metal music deeply...but someone like Michael Jackson changed the world...changed the whole movement. I remember listening to him as I kid and im 21. I mean what other artist has his on video game on the sega? I remember playing that game lol.

Much restpect to the King of POP

Makes me wanna give even more next time im on stage because I know this guy gave his heart and soul each time he performed...that what I would love to do.

"Pop" isn't exactly my genre either, but his is the only 'pop' I listen to. I think his music really transcended the boundaries of "genre." I'm a kid of the 90s, but his 80s stuff and before are some really good stuff to listen to.
