Remember, it's not how much you do, but how you do it as far as exercises are concerned.
You take a 20lb. dumbbell and done right, should feel like a 40lb. dumbbell. Feel the burn and remember, NO PAIN, NO GAIN!! lol |

Go for it. And don't worry if you aim for 25 but only lose 15, odds are you will have traded a fair bit of fat for muscle.

You guys should pick up Men's Health. They bust many fitness and diets myths and give you new workouts, eating habits, diets, and all that stuff. Best magazine for getting to where you want to be.
There's Women's Health too!

I used to be 152 a year and a half ago. By some divine doing, I went up to 174 but it was all in my belly!!! Back in October of last year, my buddy and I started to interval-run (run for a bit, walk, run for a bit, etc.) around his neighborhood. It totalled to 8 miles each day and I would wrap a plastic bag around my tummy area (sounds funny, right?).
As far as my diet, I said "forget soda, I'm drinking a nice, ice-cold glass of water from now on". So every time for lunch and dinner, I would only drink water. Throughout the day, I would go get water. I stopped eating out and would only have a ham or turkey sandwich for lunch, and for dinner I would eat smaller portions. 2 1/2 months later I went back down to 152!!! I'm still watching what I eat and drink and I've gone down to 143...I need to start eating again so I can get back up to 155.

Just saw this post. I'm in. Started at 313 in June. Down to 290 now. Goal weight is 225. I jog/walk 2 miles a day and do about 50 leg lifts and about 30 push ups. Currently working on being able to do more of that as my strength/stamina increases. I was only able to jog like half way around the high school track I go to now I can jog just over two full laps without stopping. Then I walk the corners and jog the straights for 6 more laps. Eating alot better too.

Pink 45 pounds is a lot on a woman. A few years back I lost 42lbs got down to 152 everyone said I had aids or something as I was way too thin.I got to my normal weight of 164 to 167 and stayed there for quite some time.I stayed away from fast food witch is hard because I travel so much.I need to lose again 10 to 15lbs and I will be happy. The older I get the harder it is but I will lose and so will you.So to all how want to lose GOOD LUCK I WITH YOU.
