It seems like nobody knows. Maybe it'll be mentioned on the official playstation blogcast today. It could be he was just ready to retire, which seems to be what most of the journalists are speculating. He was some kind of executive or something somewhere before Sony and has been at Sony for 19 years. Maybe he wanted to leave on a high note in case he decides not to retire. PS4 has beat all of the sales expectations, and that looks good on his CV.

He'll be missed. Very charismatic and a great figurehead at every conference he's presented at. Looks like his replacement is pretty good too, but we'll see. Sony picked someone WAY better than the guy Microsoft picked...Stephen Elop...Who presided over the failure of Nokia and Lotus (the software company).

Definitely ended on a high note, he was perfect at E3 last year can see the excitement in his face during the whole conference. He had a lot of fun with it and surely will be missed

Generally, yes, they release on Tuesday, but there have been plenty of games that didn't follow that trend. For example, yoshis new island for 3ds is coming out on next friday. Back in the day when i worked at circuit city, there were a lot of games thatd release on wednesday and thursday as well. It isnt as much on a standard as it is for movies (also release tuesdays).

Been playing Warframe. It's been fun, but I'm ready for something else. I've played all the other release titles except COD and Killzone (got tired of those games...seems like the same old same old in them).

The new free playstation plus game is actually a good time. Kind of an arcade style zombie game. (can't remember the name of it) But pretty sweet for free! Check it out if you haven't already.

Dead Nation. It was a PS3 game they updated and polished for PS4. Quite fun. Looking forward to Infamous: SS.

Infamous looks fantastic. Can't wait for it, personally not a big fan of Killzone. I think its cause of the weighted feel of movement

It's in Beta and they were targeting a "summer" launch. The Gaikai website had an ad that seemed to publish prices on the rentals. They were $5-$6 but it didn't say the term of the rental or anything.

Not bad depending on duration, guessing no mention of price combined with ps+ membership right?
