I had read they planned on 12 seasons, but that depends on if the show holds ratings for that long too.

Last night was a really good episode but I was surprised there were no big curve balls. Interesting that Carol is having some sort of shake up. I thought she was just playing them.

This. Negan is an specific individual. I think that is just their way of instilling ownership in their members. Similar to how companies tell their employees they should conduct themselves and their duties as if they are the CEO. It also has an obvious operational security element to it as well.
