It was probably dry in an hour, but it usually takes longer (24 hours I think) for it to cure (which hardens it). Kinda makes it a pain in the azz.

Yea I will paint it tomorrow morning and will put it back on the phone Sunday night now. Guess I will sand it to get down to a clean surface and then I will re apply the adhesion prometer and then the color and clear

I need to do that with my bowtie. I took my time painting it, got it perfect, but used too much primer, so it chipped when I snapped the center back in.

Oh man that sucks. I have like 3 bowties I painted in hopes of figuring out what scheme I'd like best but then I bought a heritage grille and have no need for em now

Yeah, it was like a blow to the chest, lol. I need to repaint it sometime... In the meantime, I have one that is covered in plastidip installed in my grill temporarily. You can never have too many bowties.

Well I'm actually glad I touched it. It came out better the second time around. Now I just have to refrain from touching it till at least Sunday afternoon

Question. What is the advantage of taptalk if the regular site works perfect on the iPhone?

I think it sends notifications to your phone when you're subscribed to a thread, similar to texts/emails.

It is faster to use tapatalk and easier to post pictures. Also it doesn't take forever and a day to load the page. I like that fact it has a newsfeed.
