Speaking of Tuba... not sure if you have a LS3 or L99 but in your opinion, does AFM on a stock L99 w/ aftermarket exhaust sound like an out-of-tune tuba? I experienced that on mine when I had a catback set of Flowmaster American Thunder and I did NOT like that annoying deep bass note when AFM kicked in at gear 6 between 75-80mph... annoyed the crap out of me especially when in cruise mode.

It may have taken me a little longer than normal (6.5 years, including the semester I took off) but I learned a lot of valuable lessons from my mistakes.

I work for an engineering firm in Spring Branch (the one north of San Antonio, not the Spring Branch near Houston) designing high-voltage lines (138kV and 345kV) mostly for Oncor (the utility provider for the DFW area, and much of north and west Texas).

I believe we are a direct competitor to Pike's engineering side, but we don't have any construction crews - just engineering and surveying. I have a pretty significant aversion to heights, so being on a construction crew never would have worked out very well for me I have all the respect in the world for those guys, but I'm relatively certain they possess a small amount of insanity to be able to enjoy that work
I love aviation so towers ect were my cup of tea. My entire mothers side or my family works for Pike in exception to one who works for ga power. I dreamed of being an engineer but wasn't very good at following through as a youth

Rubbing elbows with an engineer....I can handle that

I've noticed that more and more the 5th Gen Camaro SS LS LT General Discussions forum is filled with newbies who just showed up to the party and want to make a name for themselves. The majority of the threads are the same 'ole stuff that's been talked about plenty before. It's not like there's all that much left to "discover" about the Camaros now that they've been out for several years.

The mods do a heck of a job keeping everything organized and civil, though, so that's what keeps me hanging out there.
Shutting down threads, however, appears like overkill. I understand the need to expand the business base. When a market (C5) is soft, you have to find new markets. It just seems to me they could have a little more tact to control the herd than showing their hand so obviously. Who cares, it's their site to do what they want! NO AMNESTY! Close the borders between the sites! LOL!! How many immigrants have crossed over to this side with NO PAPERS! Blasphemy!!!

So some douche in a GT500 annoyed me tonight. Going 70 on the interstate he sticks right by my side slowing all the way down to 55, I speed back up to 75 and move in front of him, so he guns it up to 80-85 and cuts across all the lanes to the left (3-lane highway) and back to the right to get back in front. Good thing I was getting off on the next exit. Why do people even drive like that? Like I understand I've cut people off accidentally before or absolutely had to move over in a smaller than comfortable gap but I've never done that.
