I would like to come up during the winter. When I was younger my dad would take off in the winter with the older boy scouts and go on snowmobile trips. I was too young to go. He got sick when I was older and stoped going in the winter. My family has been going up there every summer for the last 50 years.

That's cool. I have been up 4 times this winter. We usually just ride all over up there. Devil track, hungry jack, the trail center, all great places to get your grub on.

Head over to ely etc. It's a great area.

We even go back in BWCA, and go to rydens and get burgers, the fisherman's picnic, and the powwow.

I ride a polaris currently. Thinking abut changing to ski-doo, but that new rush is the cat's a#$.

You should roll up in the SS this summer. Hard to pack the gear in though. LOL

You live up there year round I take it. I have been to devil track. Ely is more inland, and south. We stay around grand portage area.

Yea the wife and 2 kids would be cramped in the ss, but I am coming up early to do some fishing. Minnesota is a great retreat form Missouri.

I live in corn country in South central/Westernish MN.

I have been thinking about going up and renting some sleds and good place to stay. Any suggestions??
