I'm back for a little while, and thanks for the thoughts, as for whats up, I'm home for a few days, and then I leave for Gillette Wyoming for a class. Wife is flying in the last day of class and we are going to drive home through the Rockies making about a six day mini vacation out of it. We are planning on meeting up with some Camaro5 members along the way...

She got a clean bill of health. It is noise from the transmission transmitting through the solid shifter body to the transmission tunnel. I am going to install some nylon washers in the morning between the shifter mounts and the body to see if that helps, but the car is in good shape..

Aint that sum thin ! well, harmonics can migrate through short shifters,thats always been an issue.....but I didnt think by your description, thatid be de case here....aw well good news.
