I will probably get an X1 this summer but I have to say that Microsoft really screwed the pooch on the new controller. They already had a great design with the 360 controller, so what do they do, make it worse. Albeit, not by a large degree, but the bumpers (lb and rb buttons) on the new controller are horrible. Then they still refuse to have a built in rechargeable battery. SMH

I like new controllers better. Old ones were too bulky.

Yes but the fact that you have to buy a $60 controller and a $25 battery kit just to measure up to every other console's controller does not.

The battery life on the D S4 is so short because of that stupid light bar. People have opened it up and disconnected it and gotten 30 hours. Apparently there will be a software update that allows us to shut it off.

Never even heard about these. Gonna have to pick up a pack. Nothing worse than scrambling around looking for a new set of batteries (1st world problems lol)

I sucked it up and bought a recharge kit, once my triggers lose the rumble ability I plug it in.
