I wasn't talking about two-seats, I'm talking doors. The quote from the movie was made about a car that was also not a two-seater, yet the back seat was so small it might as well have been (Camaro, Mustang..hello?). Sure, the Camaro and the Mustang both have back seats, but they sure ain't luxury seats.

That's the point.

I love how they show the front end of the charger.... Which ISNT nor was ever the problem... It was that stupid genaric lightboxed rear end that made it look so terriable.

make no mistake, mustangs challengers and camaros are pony cars not muscle cars.muscle cars were larger (although the camaro and chally are pretty damned big now). The charger and gxp are the closest things to muscle cars and since i consider the 94-96 Impala SS muscle cars and badass then the Charger definately deserves consideration, especially with this new redesigned body.

if the camaro and challenger were called chevelle and charger id consider them muscle cars since theyre pretty much as big as those cars but the camaro and challenger name are associated with pony cars.

exactly. The rear quarters of the previous gen made the car look stumpy.

Muscle car, pony car. Who gives a crap. You just stated that the only thing keeping it out of being a muscle car in your eyes is it's name. If you think my '68 with the 468 cubic inches of nasty ratness and old school dual quads sittin' atop the Offy intake isn't muscle, I don't give a crap.

Then I must be one hell of a driver, as no Charger has given me much of a problem, and my car obviously is no world beater. The Chargers weigh too much, and I believe the Challenger is geared more aggressively as well.

those vids and slips were of stock challengers, well i guess i cant say showroom stock...CAI and exhausts were about the extent. anyone going to the track though is going to at least have those. i guess you could call the challenger "slowest" technically, but they are all so close....well, its been said many many times....you get what i'm sayin'(low-mid 13s slow?)

about deathproof...did you know that Tarentino found that white challenger, number matching, and told the guy that he wasnt going to use it as a smash up movie car? supposedly the guy had years into the car to bring it up to the way it was in the movie before it got smashed. yeah, he was pissed when he found out its demise, as i would be too! imagine seeing your hard work getting beaten to death on screen.

So let me get this straight-- this went from a picture of ONLY the nose of a car..

And we have morphed the discussion into:

a) 2 door vs 4 door.
b) 60s models name heritage,
c) Muscle car vs pony car.
d) The big three (Camaro, Mustang and Challenger)

.... lol.... this site is so predictable.

well to have a discussion about A,B,and C is perfectly valid i think since we are discussing the Charger and D has to come into the convo to provide more evidence to make C more valid.

Chrome grille makes it look like a Ram from the front. I like the new headlights, remind me of Viper. Could look mean...
