its hard to find friends at my school that dont smoke or drink all the time. lol i can see why everyone hates teenagers. all the girls are dirty, to dirty. nothing wrong with being curious but who wants a girl that has been passed around the school? and the hot ones always have to be retarted and i mean retarted. your fine just rip a burnout at the school parking lot and the girls will be flauking like geese

Your only 17, you should be in school! If you are in school then that is what you are doing. You got a lot going for you, not the least of which you have a
Black SS/RS.

i see. from my understanding theres no real way to help it out. also from what i've heard, meds aren't worth it. you wind up worse than you started. plus i dont even kno how to go about talking to a pro. much less finding one, i live in poe dunk middle of nowhere texas.

You ended up starting the serious. Chill a little. Relax. You got some good times ahead of you.

The fact that you made that comment says you're ahead of the game.

I've done the "innocent thread that came back to haunt me" thing a few times on various forums, and it can indeed get a little depressing.

It sounds to me like this girl is cool with you, and that's cool enough. It's easy for us gearheads to get wrapped up in our cars, and forget that not everybody understands our enthusiasm. "Going for a ride" probably sounded very different to her ears than it did in your head. "You mean, you really just wanted to show me your car?" "Duh, it's the new Camaro!"
Ladiesman? Is that you?

No you're not. You're just scared. Again. Relax. Look people in the eye and talk. You will be surprised at the respect you will get.

Hey G.E. I am surprised to read this whole thread because I was having the time of my life when I was 17. Now I am 24 and I am feeling a bit like you are today.

Life is a roller coaster and you have a lot to look forward to. Just keep your head down and don't do anything foolish. Go to a good college if you can and try to friends then. Life will be good to you. Follow your passion and do whatever you have to, even if it means selling your Camaro, because that doesn't seem to bring you joy.

Peace.

great story, however i dont thnk we r talking on the same level here. thanks tho for the insight.

i have a hard time believing you, but it's not like i can tell the future. altho i can control it somewhat. and i really don't have a passion except i like to write lyrics. but thats not something you can really get into and have a serious career in. actually i'm proud of my camaro its just hard to enjoy it when my mind is in such a bad state.
