Many will bow out, just make sure you are on the lists at all hotels. It happens every year. This will be 5 and a half Fests for me, rooms will open up as time goes on.

I just booked at the Hampton for $140 per night. It seems that rooms are going fast. I am an Honors member, too. This was with a AARP discount and I went for the flexible (fully refundable) booking.

Just tried Hilton and they're showing up as $189/night. Will keep an eye on it as it gets closer.

Seems high. Be sure to check out the Townplace Suites and the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Two new hotels here. They were quoting around $139 in late January. They are about 1.5 to 2 miles from host hotel

Also, from previous fests, some people will drop out which will leave open rooms to book also.

I just booked at country inn n suites about quarter mile away for $110 no code needed. I called the other hotels and they were 159 to 179 and they told me even if someone canceled a 115 room they weren't going to except it the new rates going to be at a higher rate

My wife just backed us out of our hotel at the holiday inn yesterday.
Turns out well be taking a cruise to grand Cayman and cozumel.

I got a hotel about 9 minutes away called red roof in I believe. Imy paying 243 for 5 nights. If anyone's interested.

I'm also at the Red Roof Inn. Booked prior to host hotel being announced. Not a problem as there will be many Camaros at all the "tells". This will be my first Camaro Fest.
