As for bodykits i always want to be different so when i wrecked the car when i was on leave back in WV it was way cheaper to get aftermarket than GM stuff and i am sure you all know that. I built the motor up on it before i did anything cosmetic. It always kills me when someone says something about the wing. It is functional and its not as high as the factory wing that came on it. Everytime i talk to people about the car i tell them you either like it or you dont theres no in between. I applaud the guys who didnt jugde it based on the exterior. I do this for myself and to show what our the possibilities of the Chevy Cobalts are! I am a die hard Chevy guy but i like modifiying cars. I guess i will end this by saying To Each His Own.

I wish I could see it in person, it looks like some quality work. It's not that much of a stir here- some of the people here can't see very far beyond the "not a v8", you just get used to that after a while .

I like the green BTW.

Thumbs up

I wouldn't say completely rice as it is an American car. BUT, it does have rice "characteristics."

purely cosmetic mods on a 4banger = rice
good performing I4 with performance related visible mods = tuner

There's other factors for both, but clearly that car is not rice.

Some of you are confusing things. I don't know how anyone can not consider this rice. It is rice, period. There is bad rice and good rice, well some may arugue that there is no good rice, but it is better than bad rice. This green car is 'better' rice, it isn't completely obnoxious or silly like bad rice. It can be a show winner and still be rice. Riced cars are like Hodgkins desease, you have bad Hodgkins and there is better Hodgkins. But at the end of the day it's still Hodgkins or in this case, rice.
