lol...heated debate about the gas cap I see.
Seen that coming... While it wont stop anyone if they really want to do something. Just like anything else. It increases the chance that the average criminal will move on to something easier etc. Just like locking your house. It wont stop anything technically...but it will help your chances of someone passing you up for an easier target. I see both sides of this argument. I personally don't give a damn as long as I can get gas in an out of it easily. Other than that don't really care... |

I guess it would be nice to have a locking gas cap door but if it doesn't who cares. Not gonna stop me from buying a camaro.

one time an idiot porter at my job put diesel fuel in a stingray (it was in a fuel can) and so we had to cyphen out gas. We could not do it with a hose. we had to either drop the tank out or take it out of the gas line. it is not easy i promise.

Possibly a stupid question here, but was there confirmation on which red this was? I have yet to see them side-by-side, so I'm not sure how different they are. Thanks if anyone can tell me.
I'm still bummed they aren't offering Daytona Sunrise Metallic on this... I think it would look outstanding. The incredibly hard to find and confusingly missing from their website Cayenne Metallic on the Sierra's is also a gorgeous color I'd like to see on this car.

However, since your panties are in such a bunch, they offer this: http://accessories.ford.com/locking-fuel-plug.html So if it's that big of a deal to you, then just buy something like that when it's released. |
