And Gordon Cooper, who was actually one of the original Mercury Astronauts did not say he "saw some unidentified object in space." His encounter was here on earth on the ground when he was at Edwards Air Force Base. You can youtube this I"m sure. But he clearly says an ALIEN SPACE CRAFT landed on the base. He actually filmed it and sent the film back to Washington. If a space craft lands on a U.S. Air Force Base, a well known fighter pilot and astronaut talks about it, what more do you freaking need? Just admit these things exist? Why all the hedging. Its a fact. This world will eventually be slapped in the face with this and all the doubters will eventually be silenced once and for all.

The Roswell incident is another great example. When this originally happened the air base commander released a statement that they had captured a crashed alien craft. Not a UFO but an alien flying saucer. It was only later when the higher ups heard they made them detract it and the cover up began with the whole weather balloon story.

These are facts. Its odd to me that so many people want to keep doubting. The evidence is over whelming at this point.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

Blurry pictures & shaky video are not exactly overhwelming evidence. Neither are eye witness testimonials. Vision & memory are strange things. We like to think that we record what we see & play it back like a movie. But in reality, our memories are pieced together like a puzzle. The crazy thing is, over time some of those pieces can change -altering the 'picture'. Just about everyone remembers things that never happened to them. They aren't making it up per-se, their memories are simply wrong. Psychologists are trying to figure out what causes this, but it is a very real thing. People have falsely remembered watching things that happened before they were born, and ended up creating a whole narrative around it like any of us do with real memories. Thats just one example, and its the easiest to prove as being impossible. How can we ever say that a strange thing 1 person saw is what they claim it is -or isn't?

Just presenting this as a potential explanation for how people can believe unbelievable things.

What else can it be? Off the top of my head, there are 3 other alternatives: a natural phenomenom, an optical illusion, or even a hallucination (don't worry, hallucinations are actually pretty common ... which, when you think about it is kinda worrying). Especially when the thing you saw was a light, at night. Its very hard for the mind to give something like that the proper context. All you have to go on is that it was a light, moving around in an odd manner. That isn't enough to make any conclusions from.

Back in my college days, I would have to say that the most interesting class I ever took was "Law & Psychology". One topic of significant interest was the generation of false memories, as you mentioned. However, in the law setting, we focused primarily on how accurate, or inaccurate witness testimony is, especially months or even years later on the actual court hearing. I can't give you a specific number of how many people were falsely accused and ultimately falsely imprisoned due to shotty witness testimony because well, I don't remember LOL. I do remember however, how shocked I was at the percentages however.

Us earthly humans are barbarians. Any living things from another world that have the technology to travel thru the universe like we travel thru our cities are not going to stop here on earth for a visit. To them we are like a bad area that you don't want to go near. If they were to land here. We would want to steal their stuff, vandalize their equipment and kill them. They know better. Some of them just pass by to tease us a little, have a good laugh and move on. It was safer to land here on earth when the dinosaurs were roaming around.

Until we develop warp drive technology then they will see us as maybe a threat and come help us or even wipe us out.

I had a crazy idea for a movie.
A scientist that specializes in DNA is doing an experiment where he captures Musquitos that are engorged with blood(similar to Jurassic park) and tests the DNA and try's to match the animal the blood came from. One day he comes across a strange DNA sequence that he cannot match up to any known animal. As a last resort he decides to clone this animal to see what it is. With the assistance of a cloning expert they create a clone of the animal, which turns out to be an alien that can mimic other life forms at will... This proves two things, Aliens do exist, and they are here...

We have extraordinary proof IMO. Astronaut after astronaut after major airline pilot after major airline pilot after mass video after mass video to me = extraordinary proof. Its kind of like having a video of a murder. If you have someone being shot on tape is that extraordinary evidence? I would say yes, yet people tend to want to pick UFO/Alien evidence to death. "Oh well its fake, its doctored. The astronauts were all hallucinating, the pilots were on drugs, they were suffering from sleep depravation", on and on and on. How much evidence is enough? Do you need an ET to walk up to you and slap you in the face?

As for my encounter, I have no doubt in my mind it was a spacecraft. Definitely was not a meteor, meteors streak across the sky or normally go from north to south (downward). This started out hovering for a long time then suddenly shot all the way from horizon to the other horizon across the sky then straight out into space after it made it to the other side of the horizon in a matter of seconds. The speed was overwhelming and the most impressive thing I've ever seen. If it wasn't a ship the only other explanation I would have is it was some type of actual being, a living entity of some type. And no I wasn't hallucinating. I haven't ever taken good enough drugs to hallucinate that much, although I am willing to try. Conventional aircraft or spacecraft, NO WAY.

The video posted above, my ship looked nothing like that. The size of those ships are impressive. Mine was not impressive looking. It merely looked like a giant star. You would not have known it was a ship at all until it moved and the way it moved with lightning speed.

I understand the need or desire to pick all of this apart, and that is certainly everyone's right to do, but I certainly believe in it 110% beyond the shadow of a doubt. I may as well doubt whether or not Great White Sharks exist merely because I've never seen one in the wild. That's the way I look at it. To me the over whelming evidence including my own experience is way more than enough to convince me.

The simple math of it too. The amount of stars, the amount of solar systems they represent, the amount of planets in orbit around all those stars. The simple math of that alone has to be evidence that they have to have life on some of them. It would make absolutely NO sense if we were the only single planet in the entire universe with life. No sense AT ALL.

I totally agree with that. I also have a suspicion that some of the larger ships like on the video above could even be similar to our cruise ships. Aliens on vacation, coming to look at other planets. They are probably able to access our television feeds and are able to look up close and personal at our societies when they are in orbit with mere camera type lenses. And I totally agree they would probably look at our world like a total violent mess, just as we would a horrible crime ridden ghetto neighborhood. They no doubt would be like whoa dude can't believe those humans are so violent and pathetic. I am sure those alien civilizations are way more advanced in every way than we are. They are probably also mostly very peaceful.

They do exist. That doesn't concern me. What makes me wonder is where the edge of space is. Is there a wall? Do you just appear on the other side? I mean WTF

Supposedly it never ends, a concept our limited minds cannot grasp. Or its continually expanding. I can't wrap my brain around it either. Just more proof there are many things in this universe we just can't understand, at least not yet. Just think of the strides we've made in a single century.

Before the 1900s there was no mass electricity, no mass electric lighting, no air conditioning. Motor cars were just beginning, there was mainly the horse and buggy. No airplanes, no radio, no television, no motion pictures, no telephones, or at least it was just beginning in its infancy. Certainly no computers, no smart phones, all of this new modern tech is brand new. In just 100 years we have come a long long way.

So just think of the things we still do not understand and have no comprehension of. Its not surprising then that aliens have tech to travel these distances to visit us. Many of them no doubt have been around a lot longer than we have. Just think what we'll have in a mere 1000 years from now, which in the grand scheme of things is not a very long time at all.

I don't really understand why everyone automatically assumes aliens would view humans as pathetic.

Yep. It's current boundary is the the speed of light x however many years ago the "big bang" was. It's also, more than likely, flat.
