Just left GPI yesterday getting a baseline dyno to see how much Hp/TQ all the moneys I’m spending gets me. She put down 404 hp and 398 tq with a CAI air-intake and stock tune. I’ll post the sheet in a sec when I can go to the car.

You get the Melling 10355? I have read that is for the L99, but my shop told me to get the 10355 as well even though I am a LS3.

The L99 already has a stronger pump than the LS3. The Melling is typically for LS3s, whereas L99 stock pumps are pretty good for many applications. Folks usually do their timing chain swap and get a Melling when they do a cam in the LS3. For L99, just need the timing chain and keep the stock pump.

I am doing the ss4 no fly cut cam and have a katech timing chain to go in and sense my motor has 75k miles, I am going to put in a melling pump. I wanted to know what melling part number the OP bought for his ls3.

Oh nice. I have the SS4 flycut, had it done at 75k and am now at 78k

Nice. Yes its on the list when I get the TB, intake, and heads. It will be in place before any bottom end and definitely any FI.

Did you meet any of the guys? Good dudes out at GPI!

I don’t think I have any pumps close enough to me to warrant me doing it just yet.

Yea I meet Ryan James and Ronnie talked too a couple guys in the shop. James had to get some paperwork and was like walk around man check the shop out. Most people act like there shops are area51 lol they were so open
