Well, I did my written test for LAPD, now I'm going to have to be traveling down there at least once a month to do physical training in case I get called for an oral board.

Irvine PD written test on April 4th

San Diego Sheriff written test on April 25th.

And the only day for the Santa Barbara PD written test is April 15th

It really sucks because if you pass it, the physical test is the 16th and if you pass that, oral board is on the 18th. Which means they are looking to hire soon.

I'm crossing my fingers for Irvine or San Diego. Might apply at Berkely too. Smaller city, but they start pay at 70K
