Just did some research on the ball and it says its for medium oiled lanes.

Watched some videos and its real clean through the front with a smooth reaction to the pins. If you don't get a lot of hand in the ball I can definitely see this ball not being strong enough for you. They just didn't make balls back in 2007 like they do today. So I think a new ball or two would dramatically improve your game!

It has been a long time. I'll try to find one for heavy oil, as the lanes here are pretty oily, and being left handed, doesn't help. Lol

Shot 685 on Tuesday night. It felt good because we bowled the team, (well, one guy on the team) that hates us. Last time we bowled them, he said he was going to quit because he was pissed that "professionals" are on the league taking the fun out of it. His excuse was hes ex-military and he hates to lose. Wrong sport to play in asshole. Mind you that we spotted them 234 pins, and we are in 3rd to last place. (We only have 41 pins handicap) They WERE in first place. We took all 7, knocking them out of first. Suck on that d-bag!! At the end, he threw his shit in his bag and walked out without even zipping the bag up!

A 615 for me last night. Just can't seem to get/keep the strings going. Took 2.5 of 4 points. Not great, but not bad either.

Shot 743 last night. (258,227,258) That should have been 3 300's. I hit pocket every ball except one, which actually ended up striking anyway! All I had was 9s and strikes. I missed a 10 pin the second game so thats why the score dropped a little. I took over the sheet for HSS. Ill take it! Even though HSS doesnt pay out.

Well after taking all that time off I'm back at it Sunday mornings working through the groin pain. The time off helped very little.

I have finally got my back swing plane and timing in order the way I wanted it. 20 years of bad habit has been REALLY hard to combat.

I have literally gotten horrible as far as scoring. The feel is so much different opening that arm that it's a movement that feels so out of whack it's like starting over. Looks like a simple change but it has been a real challenge.

Here is the progression of getting my back swing straight and my timing right in the feet over the course of a year. Now that I got it I just have to dial it in. Ball is at crest in each pic. My feet are out in front now like I wanted.

That third pic looks great! Ball looks to be in line with your head, hand on the inside of the ball. My goal for this summer is to master the yo-yo swing. If you dont know what that is, look up EJ Tackett. Hes got a rev rate that almost matches Belmo.

Not to great yesterday. Averaged about 8 pins below my average for 4 games but we did take 8 of 10 and I also took 8 of 10 in league within the league from the second place guy. Big for me since I was 4th before hand.

Aggravating night for me too. I got to take a tour of the entire lane, hunting for an area where I could score. I tried everything between a down-and-in shot up the 8 board and a inside shot over the 4th arrow. Mostly struggled to shoot 590. Team took three and now we're in second place, so they had my back. Maybe I'll learn how to bowl again by next week...

6 man team I was off last week. League was cancelled this week 14 in. of snow. I'm off next week go figure.

I was back home for spring break last week...subbed in league there shot 640 with a 181 my first game.

The first two look pretty bad but believe me the ball came out nicely in the end.

My biggest problem is getting my waist and shoulders around ahead of the ball. As you see in the video below I still have a hard time pushing my arm ahead of my shoulder rather than get the shoulder out in front.

Well in trying to whip my shoulder though yesterday I opened up an old shoulder injury. I am on the shelf again.

May just give it up now. Ugh..............

Her was the result that tore my shoulder out. The very next throw on the left lane I threw my shoulder out.
