I find it funny that 90% of the people posting "answers" in that thread would have no idea whatsoever of how to actually do such a build.

sure they can say "chop the firewall to make it fit" or "you'll need a different car to start with"

but how many of them would go out and find the dimensions of the motor, the dimensions of the frame of the car and all the other stuff to make it work.

same thing went for the guy who swapped a corvette IRS into his firebird. he asked for people's advice on how to do it, everyone gave him shit about it and told him he was retarded to try it and to just do what everyone else did and put in a 12 bolt or 9" and a watts link.

Eh, it's not so much the v10 thing--it's the flip flopping and lack of knowledge. Buncha silliness. I want a v10...now I want a v8...what's a good track car that can run low 7's but is still streetable...nevermind, I'll get two track cars--but my budget is 40k...okay my budget is 50k...etc
