The way cars are bought and sold will never go back to the way it was my opinion. Like everything else this World has changed forever because of Covid and I don't believe it will ever go back. The Dealers WILL be history it's just a matter of time, so for that fellow that likes them - hahahaha good luck to that and you ...!!!

I think it will change to some degree. That being said, dealer networks are a huge part of the auto industry, they won't go away over night. Furthermore, people like to go on a lot and buy a car that day, ordering will probably be more common than it was pre-pandemic, but there will still be auto lots.

I don't mind going through a dealer, what I do mind is pretending to be interested in the salesman's hunting dog and hobbies in order to build a rapport to be able to talk about buying something at MSRP. Let me know what the OTD price is, don't try to fleece me with add-ons and markups.

I just wish to exchange currency for a product.

2023 1ss ordered 5/7/22. Produced 6/30/22. Just got a notification 6/18/22 that it was in transit from Lansing Michigan to Lansing Michigan. Not sure what exactly that means. My dealership is in North Canton Ohio. Anyone experienced this yet?

GM Chat just told me my car was produced! My salesman is on a Cruise to Aruba. lol

2023 red hot convertible v6 1LT w/tech and carbon flash wheels (and red seatbelts and red calipers)

We call it "The Rental".

Just got the skinny: 3800 waiting for Jack Cooper trans... bayed at 6:14am this morning. Built yesterday.

Dealer let me know he's getting 2 Camaro allocations this week, and I'm the only current order, no one else in line.

A little scared I won't get to use either of those 2 allocations 'cause of the GMauthority article about A1Y constraint. My order is for a manual 2SS1LE with no extra options so hopefully it gets picked up.

The nerves, they eat away at my soul waiting for Thursday news 😰

Usually when we would see constraints they were 2-3 weeks out for a specific TPW and last I had seen the 1LE wasn't shut out entirely.
