Also, I know all smartphone batteries suck, but android takes the cake for sucking the life out of the battery. Lol. I think ease of use goes to iPhone as well. Just more user friendly.
Saying Android sucks the life out of batteries is like saying 'car' gets bad gas mileage Lol.

Lol. I don't get it. I was just saying, I had to replace the battery after 1 year, because it would be 100% charged, by the time it got down to about 52%, which would be about a few hours later with little use, it would go all the way down to 2% in a matter of seconds and the shut off. After I got a new battery, it would last half a day. I can keep my iPhone unplugged for a few days, if I don't use it much.

This is honestly the exact problem I had with my iPhone 3GS. At about a year and a half, my battery was shot. It would start at 100%, drop down to 37 in about an hour and then it would just turn off magically. When I got my upgrade, I decided to try out android. I had an evo 3d, liked it. Now love my galaxy s3. Can use it vigorously for hours and barely make a dent in the battery. Guess it might just be the luck of the draw?

Very well could be. Some people are meant for droid, some for iPhone.

Do have to say it's luck of the draw because after 5 months we had to replace one S3 and maybe a second 7 months later from Software issues. We have 3 S3s in my house and 1 iPhone 5 and I have the 5 simply because I wanted a phone that could sync with my devices with no effort on my part.

Looking back at it I kind of regret the iPhone but to tell you truth I would have regretted the S3 also simply put because I get sick of a OS after a few months and just like to change around. But that's what I like about android with rooting you have several different flavors of the OS to choose from at your finger tips. Just gets kind of annoying when you have a less popular model and only have semi stable OS to choose from. (I speak from experience because I had the HTC Inspire 4G which by no means was a horrible phone but just got phased out very quickly because of LTE)

If I could buy a new phone right now it would be a pretty big toss up between a HTC one (if i could afford it I would go with the google Play edition), S4 and Note 2. If i got the HTC one (and it wasnt the google play edition) I would be rooting it right away to simply get rid of sense. I just love HTCs build quality and not so much their bloatware they force you to use. Now that I have tried iPhone I can almost certainly say unless something changes I will be a Android user again in a little over a year.

The joke was that you said Android has poor battery life. Certain phones do, but it's not an Android issue.

So saying Android has bad battery is like saying 'car' has bad gas mileage because it depends on which Android or which car.

Sorry to detract from the usual V6 lounge agenda- see who can passively flirt with the two females the hardest while appearing not to care.

That's the Galaxy Nexus. Many phones have these type of softkeys. Nice thing is I can make them whatever I want. I made an April fools zip file that turned them all to penises for anybody who flashed it haha.

How do you like your nexus? They just lowered the price to 199 for the 8gb version which to me is a great price for the phone you get. The thing I like about the nexus line is that they don't get phased out quickly if you decide to stay with the stock ROM since google supports them pretty well.

I have been looking and have pretty much decided that when my iPad 2 craps out I will buy the nexus 7. The battery on my iPad 2 is only lasting about 2 days with somewhat decent usage compared to being a week or two when I first got it.
