TGO is great for information but if you post up anything social it is closed lickety split. They must have very limited bandsidth or something.

So I saw something intersting today...

Driving down the interstate, I see two cars tango. An Accord and a Tacoma. the Tacoma does a 360 and slams the cable guardrail. The Accord drove off... All this right infront of me so we follow the Accord and catch up to him and get his plate and call 911. He stops when we wave him over. Young kid, maybe 17. Car all jacked up...

So I circle back and give the guy in the truck the plate number, everyone is Ok and we leave.

Well the wife and I get to talking about it and we didnt actually see who caused it. From the damage of the vehicles, it looks as if the truck may have cut off the Honda? The honda was hit right front... the truck was just all messed up but it is possible that the truck was in the middle lane and the honda was in the left lane and the truck turned into the left lane and clipped the right front of the honda with is left rear... Only question... why would the kid drive off? I am trying to think of a senario of how it could have been the hondas fault b/c he was out of there... fast. Like trying to weave in and out of traffic???

Only other way I guess would be it the truck were in the middle lane and the honda was in the left lane and the honda tried to turn into the middle lane and was going too fast and PITed the truck, causing it to spin out. I did see contack between the car and truck then the truck lose it.

One thing I will say is the cable rail system we just installed saved him from a cross over/head on crash on the interstate.

I guess I will never know unless I get a copy of the accident report. I think I will do that!

Guy in the honda may not have had a license or something. You never know.

By the way, do you have any idea when they'll be done working on I-75 in Dayton?

None, different district. What part? I could look it up. I need an Interchange or mile marker or something or do you mean the 75/70 interchange? "We" are working on 75 from 63 to god knows where in Montgomery Co. It will give me somethign to do while everyone is off.

Yeah, it's around the 75/70 interchange. That area has been under construction for a few years now it seems like.

IIRC there was big problems and they had to shut it down for a while. I really dont know, just gossip and whatnot. I may can try to look it up and get back with you... thursday! Dont forget lunch! Looks like crap weather, no camaro for me!
