That sucks! I stood right outside the garage door and watched the entire time.

I'm so tired of getting the "I can't give you a quote, I have to see it first"
You have to cut out less than 2 foot of pipe and weld in another pipe in its place..... twice.

Not that hard to come up with a price

Ask around and you may find a good one. Just don't take it to a name brand store..

lol....I paid $40 to have it done on my car. Just a local shop...kind of a mess, a couple older guys but do good work. I'd have paid them double that without thinking about it too much.

When they asked for $40 I had to ask if he was sure about that.

Excited cuz it sounds like a monster. Still don't like the hood scoop or rear taillights but the ls7 is mean! And 3 seconds faster around the track than the zl1!

I agree, the rear end looks terrible. I don't like the hood scoop either but I do have a question now though. What's the point of the zl1 now? We all know the zl1 isn't a drag strip monster and it's supposed to be a track monster but the z28 is better by three whole seconds so where does that leave the zl1?

The zl1 is the monster for everyday users. It has speakers, air conditioning etc. The z28 is for the track and the track only. I'd rather a zl1 personally.

Oh ok, yea after seeing a few of the specs, yea I'd prefer the zl1 if I was going to do any daily driving at all.

It still feels like they went all out with the z28 and kinda left the zl1 just there. Well from what we've seen. The z28 even comes standard with a cold air intake while the zl1 doesn't.

Good question. I didn't watch the whole unveiling but does the z28 have mag ride too?
