X, it would behoove you to lose the security blanket, at least when you get your "smooth" on. If you've known this chick for 6 years, then she went away, and is now coming back...you need to floor her! She needs to get off that plane and say, "wow, this isn't the bryon I remember". Case in point, my "fedora" so to speak was my metal attire. I was SO very metal back in the day. Leather jacket, slayer shirt, boots, the whole nine yards. I got zero ladies because that kinda stuff is viewed as more of a "costume" than anything else. If you can be confident WITHOUT the security blanket...well my friend, then the world is your oyster.

And fedoras haven't been in style since the first Ninja Turtles movie.
