Any " League Bowlers " Out there ?

Well I had a pretty consistent week of bowling .. Tuesday I shot 634 and tonight I shot 634 ! 223-193-218 ... I can't remember ever shooting the same set in the same week . Won all 7 points to .

Must be nice to win points!! My team has virtually no handicap, so we often give away 300+ pins. We win 1 game here and there, but we are getting stomped on this league. I really wish I could find a scratch league around here. Shits getting old. Our team average scratch is 770. How do you lose with 770 scratch!! Lol!!

never saw this post I have been pretty big into bowling all my life as I have started a family and got other hobbies I have slowed down a lot but I have traveled all over the country bowling most was as a youth/amateur bowler bowling in KC has went down hill a lot our only scratch league folded last year...I am currently averaging 218 in my one and only league I bowl mostly throw storm equipment as I have a storm staff bowler on my team and my mentor was a staff member also
so get some good feed back on there stuff

200-178-223 Bad night for carry. There were some "dead" areas in the pattern right around my break point (two pocket 7-10s). I hunted around and went with my weakest ball and found a down-and-in line that worked in game three. Unfortunately, I fluffed a few shots during the night as well, so I couldn't get any strings going. Only one-point for the team... and I tweaked my back. Still hurts.

Not sure about bowling on Thursday, though. That's my league night, and I'm betting that a weather cancellation is coming...

Well I'm really pissed to night but my fault no one else. Could have had my first 800 this year . Alleys were just the way I like them dryer than a pop corn FART. No split no ten pins 237-273-284- 794.

Awesome set !! What do you mean 1st 800 set of the year ?? You have bowled a 800 every year ? I can't wait to bowl mt First 800 !!! I know more 300 game people than 800 series and I know a lot of bowlers . Lol

You ain't going to believe this. Tension gets to me I have never bowled a 300.

667 (242, 235, 190) Thought I was going to have my 300 in the first game. Had the front 7, then our lane broke. Got it back up and running about 10 mins later, but lost the shot. Came up high and left the 2-8. Lanes were perfect. DRY! My high series is 763, high game is 299.

BTW - I read spike's post as he thought he would shoot his first 800 ever. Though the way it's written, it would naturally be read to to mean first this year.

Anyway, good shootin' there spike!

Since we're revealing personal highs - my "can't-put-three-high-games-together" curse has held me to a 736 high series even though I've shot five 300s.

I got another 634 series ... lol it's the 3rd in 2 weeks . but a hell of way to get it ..

I shot 189-167-278 !! Never had so many single pin spares the first two games . second game I had 2 splits then in the 3rd game I start off with 3 in a row the a 3-10 split picked up for a spare then struck out for a 278 .

Miss under standing no I don't shoot 800 every year. But I'm 68 yrs. old I have shot a few of them. I shot a couple of 300 in school & with friends for fun. But I have never got one in sanctioned USBC. my highest is a 293.
