Well, I don't know what to tell you about the engine. But it must be working pretty good to get ya a speeding ticket. LOL But the one for not signaling...really, a cop wrote you up for that? Man, around here the cops don't even signal. The only time they pull somebody over for that, is if they were just looking for an excuse to light somebody up.

yea....apparently I didnt signal about 5 times ir so....and because I am from Chicago, thats why I got them....Cops outside the chicagoland area hate ppl from Chicago....

Oh, I am DEAD serious! As soon as they get my license and see I am from Chicago, I see their attitude change. Plus my buddies that have moved down here and gotten their addresses changed, get warnings... Its in the middle of Illinois, if you drive more than 10 minutes in ANY direction, you are in the middle of a corn field. The cops have nothing better to do. Its two small cities, each with their own college, both within a few blocks of eachother, but in different cities. I mean its a decent sized town when you combine the two, but still SMALL from what I am used to being that I actually live IN Chicago!

Damn, that really is bad! I'm not going to lie to you, I don't get it? I mean, really, why do they hate folks from Chicago??? I haven't known many in person, but the guys I have known were actually pretty cool.

Because they feel ppl from Chicago are stuck-up spoiled, etc, who knows really? I just know they act different when your from up there. Prolly because its the big city and they feel everyone is the same. I really don't know though. I mean, the cop even asked me after I gave him my license "You live here now?" And STUPIDLY, knowing what I do I responded with "No, I go to school here" about the WORST thing I could have told him. I should have told him, yes that I was waiting til my license expired in Jan to change it...

Man, that's got to be what it is. It just sounds so unfair, but I understand what you're saying. As far as when the cop asked you that question...you did the right thing being honest with him. The last thing you want to do is get caught lying to the police. I do wonder if you would have still gotten the ticket though?

Yea, I wonder too... But technically I DO live down here, I mean, I have an apartment. But I still consider Chicago where I live....
