Is it way better? Mine sucks on the 1-2 shift if I'm driving hard, and the throws are obviously really long

Yeah it's way better. The feel, how precise it is. The 1LE/ZL1 shifter I thought was great and really nice but the MGW is even better. I haven't missed a shift since I switched to MGW, it was a pretty rare occasion with the stock shifter but every shift in every race counts.
