I feel the same way about 99% of HOA's out there.

I've had some strong issues with my previous HOA's and my current one.

we got a notice in the mail the first week we moved in because our rental truck was took up the whole driveway and we had cars parked in the street.

however, I have yet to pay a single fine. I've been fined numerous times for stupid stuff. Even threatened to take the HOA pres (down in charleston) to court because she put a "notice to tow" sticker on my car window. She said my car had not moved in 2 weeks and it was going to be towed... I hadn't driven it in 48 hours

I told her flat out, if she touches my property again, she had better have the cops present because I would knock her the F down.

on top of that, when I got my basset hound puppy years ago, I was outside of the house (dog was chained in the back yard) going to my car and when I walked around the corner, the puppy started crying. the HOA pres told me to "curb my dog"

I asked her what she wanted me to do about it. it was a puppy.

then I asked her if she yelled at parents at a restaurant whose kids were crying.

but everytime I got a fine, I called the company that actually owns the HOA and would tell them what was really happening and they'd remove the fine every time.

yes and no. in most cases, yes. but, take my current HOA, they have a rule that you can't build a structure on your property larger than 10'X12' and it has to match the exterior of the house.

without that rule in place, I wouldn't have a back yard. I'd have a 40X40 metal building with a paved driveway going behind the house.

lol..

i'm working on installing his MSD 6AL right now.

The distributor stopped sending a pulse, so I just rebuilt it with a new magnetic trigger.. Seems fine now.. Just need him to get here so I can get it to TDC and put the bitch back in.

pull the spark plug wires loose, but on far enough so it still runs, just backfires when he mashes the gas... then head to the track
