yeah they is a bunch of white stuff and some red orange stuff. when i was loosing them up i heard a huge crack. i thought i broke the bolt but i didnt. i guess that stuff stuck onto the block. how do i clean it. i ran it thrown soap and water and nothing really happened hahaha

well my friend is coming over with a small 10mm wrench. but wtf.... o much for me trying to be productive.

i think i may have effed up a bit here.

when you re RTV, i can just apply on the blue stuff right. no need to wash and what not

Unless we're thinking of two different bolts, don't you need a 13mm???

You should remove any previously cured RTV from the isolator and heads. it'll probably peel right off w/o much effort.

As far as what the red/orange stuff is - I can't say for sure, but it could be thread locker compound. Usually one would clean it off with a wire brush. I take it that you didn't do the install?

I suppose it could be in a pinch. You ought to have a close look at the threads in the heads after you get the intake manifold off to see if there is any debris down in the holes. Or more of the red/orange stuff. If so, you can attempt to clean them out using one of the bolts. Just run it in and out of each hole carefully until you get to the point that it's pretty easy to do by hand.

I have the black ice and I dont have a took for the back bolt so I said damn and went to put it back on. The black ice dislodged from the manifold but I cant reseal it till I get a wrench. Also my bilts have all this white stuff and I am trying to torwie it back but keep getting cracking noises so I'm scared to continue. Fml. Should I clean the bolt so itll go down smooth?
I'm sorry but I didn't understand that.
